API Access

For programmatic access to your tripwires:

API Keys

Generate and manage API keys for integration with your systems.

  • Create new API keys with specific permissions
  • Revoke existing keys at any time
  • Set expiration dates for temporary access
▶ Scoped, least-privilege API keys (tw_…) for CI and automation.

Organizations, roles & namespaces

Share a tripwire estate with a team. An organization groups members under roles (owner, admin, member, viewer), and Vault-style namespaces constrain each member to namespace:read or namespace:write on a partition of the estate.

Namespaces are hierarchical paths, like Vault: a grant on team/prod covers team/prod and everything beneath it (team/prod/db), while a grant on team/prod/db covers only that leaf — never its parents or siblings. Write on a parent path confers write on its descendants; read does the same for visibility.

See the full Teams & RBAC guide for the role permission matrix, the namespace hierarchy rules and worked examples.

▶ Organizations, the owner/admin/member/viewer roles, and member management.
▶ Per-member namespace grants with live enforcement (read-only prod → 403, writable staging → 200).

Danger Zone

Irreversible account actions are located in the Danger Zone:

Delete Account

Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone. All tripwires, detection history, and settings will be permanently removed.
